Make Life Clear
Privacy Policy
Last updated 25 August 2026
Make Life Clear is a private life-planning service. This policy explains what information the service needs, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
Information you provide
We store the account information you submit, such as your name and email address, together with the content you choose to place in your life plan. That content may include visions, life-area ratings, goals, commitments, high-level financial snapshots, weekly reflections, and reminder preferences.
Do not enter bank passwords, payment-card numbers, government identifiers, medical records, or information you do not have permission to store.
Account security
Authentication is handled using Better Auth. Passwords are stored as secure hashes, not readable passwords. Transactional account messages such as verification and password-reset links are delivered through Brevo when email delivery is enabled.
Payments
Paid memberships are processed by Stripe. Make Life Clear does not store your complete payment-card number. Stripe may process payment and billing information under its own privacy terms.
How information is used
Your information is used to operate your account, display and update your plan, calculate the progress views you request, provide support, secure the service, deliver requested account messages, and manage a paid membership.
Make Life Clear does not sell your life-plan content. It is not a public social feed and is not used to display targeted advertising.
Storage and service providers
Account and plan data are stored on infrastructure operated for Make Life Clear, including OVHcloud hosting and limited Cloudflare infrastructure during deployment or migration. Encrypted backups may be stored with a separate infrastructure provider. Stripe processes billing, and Brevo processes transactional email where configured. These providers may process limited information necessary to deliver their services.
Retention and your choices
You can export your plan data and permanently delete your account from Settings. You can update inaccurate information in the product or contact [email protected] for help. We may retain limited records where reasonably required for security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal obligations.
International use
Make Life Clear is designed for a global audience. Information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use service providers and safeguards appropriate to cross-border processing.
Children
Make Life Clear is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
